  • broken back

This entire last week I have been up to my neck in custom paintings, purchase orders and new customers. To say I've looked haggard would be an understatement but thankfully I have a husband who tells me I'm beautiful even when my face looks like it got ran over and I'm still in his sweats by 6pm (three days in a row…). I am so grateful for this and wouldn't change it for the world. I love every single person who comes across my page and trusts me with their sentimental, hand-painted gifts they give to their loved ones. These photos are besides the point, except that this was a day I had a hunch back from painting for 8 hours straight without a break. So, this was a necessary (and mandatory) time to pick one of the last standing roses from mom's rose bushes. It's all the little things that make me happy.

I love your blog! Your paintings are similar to what I’ve been getting into and you are such an inspiration. I love your art work and the way you explain your life in Texas and your adventures. You’re beautiful and an amazing person! Keep up the good work:)
